Need the record without an apostille?
Tell us the issuing office, exact record or certified copy needed, whether you already hold it, and your deadline. State clearly that no apostille is requested. We review that scope separately before accepting work.
No signer intake or Persona is required for record-only work without notarization. If you are helping someone else, identify your role and keep your details separate from the record owner's. Disclose comparison shopping before asking for individual scope help.

What to send
Four facts usually make the next step clear.
Include the current document, who issued or created it, where it will be used, and your deadline. If a recipient gave written instructions or rejected a prior version, include that record too.
Do not alter, re-stamp, or add pages to an already notarized or apostilled document while it is under review. Send it exactly as it exists now.

Common document-review questions
Should I notarize a photocopy of an official record?
Usually, start by checking whether the recipient needs a certified or newly issued record. A notarized photocopy is not automatically a substitute for the official document.
What if the document still needs a signature?
The actual signer can start free intake and Persona through the signer route, even before the document file is ready. Helpers use the third-party document route and cannot complete the signer's steps.
Can you review a rejected document?
Yes. Send the document and the written rejection or recipient instruction. A phone comment or informal message may not show the actual approval rule, so written evidence is more useful.
Is document review legal advice?
No. Notary Geek can review notary, certified-copy, apostille, authentication, legalization, shipping, and practical recipient-routing issues. We do not provide legal, tax, immigration, banking, formation, or residency advice.
