Official records, signer-created documents, and federal documents can follow different paths. The destination country and recipient instructions also determine whether the next step is an apostille, authentication, consular legalization, notarization, or a certified copy.
Official Florida apostille queue
Florida's official processing page was updated 09/11/26. This is the official received-on date being processed, not a completion guarantee.
Handled Florida route
The official processing date shows the mail-in queue behind the state fee. The handled route adds document-path review, notary-quality control, runner support where eligible, and shipping coordination.
Florida DOS reports apostille requests received on 08/14/26. Mail or FedEx-in routes follow this ordinary state queue and can be slow.
Florida can be while-you-wait at the Secretary of State counter when the eligible impacted person presents the request and the document route fits.

Florida Apostille helps with Florida documents. If the same order also includes a signer-created document, that document may use a Florida online notary public through Notary Geek, while the Florida record stays with the Florida apostille handling.
Official records connected to Florida stay with the Florida review, certified-copy, apostille, or legalization handling.
Signer-created documents in the same order may use Notary Geek's online notary workflow, commonly through Florida online notarization, before their own authentication step.

Public verification
Use official records and public profiles to verify the service. Florida online notaries handle the online notary step. Signers outside the U.S. can use a non-U.S. passport and do not need a Social Security Number. Use the official state source for document requirements, then use the business and Florida verification links if the package also includes an online notary step.

Mail or FedEx-in follows the official queue.
